TACOMA, Wash. — A significant police presence has been observed in a Tacoma neighborhood following a tip linked to a cold case. Authorities began investigating a home on the 4000 block of Gunnison Street and South Wright Avenue on Monday, May 19, 2025, around 8 a.m.
Investigators were seen in the backyard of the property. According to local residents, an excavator was brought in to assist in the search, which involved digging up a sidewalk and parts of the lawn.
