Fans Prepare for Sonsio Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Fans attending the Sonsio Grand Prix NTT INDYCAR SERIES event on May 9-10 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are encouraged to visit the “Plan Ahead” page for detailed information about the fan experience at IMS.

Tickets for the Sonsio Grand Prix can be purchased online or at the gates on race days. Public parking is available in various locations around the track. Additionally, IMS announced that it will operate as a cashless facility, requiring debit or credit cards for all purchases. Tap-to-pay phone payments are also accepted.
For convenience, Cash-to-Card machines will be positioned in Pagoda Plaza and outside certain concession stands, allowing fans to convert cash into temporary debit cards usable inside and outside the venue.
Public pedestrian gates open on Friday, May 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., while on Saturday, May 10, the gates open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. At these entrances, fans will experience a streamlined security process, as they will be able to walk through screening devices without removing items from their pockets.
