Final Round of 2025 Truist Championship Set for Sunday

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania — The 2025 Truist Championship will conclude its exciting final round on Sunday, May 11, at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. A grand prize of $3.6 million awaits the champion, making this a critical tournament for top golfers as they prepare for the PGA Championship next week.
Shane Lowry and Sepp Straka currently share the lead at 14-under par after three rounds, while Justin Thomas and Keith Mitchell trail them by three strokes at 11-under. Defending champion Rory McIlroy sits at 8-under, six shots off the lead.
Lowry, seeking his first individual title since 2019, said, “It’s a special week being here and I’m focused on getting the win.” Straka is aiming for his second Tour victory this year, having won the American Express in January.
The final round begins at 8 a.m. ET, with tee times scheduled throughout the morning and early afternoon. CBS will air the live broadcast from 3 to 6 p.m. ET, while early coverage will start on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. ET.
NBC Sports will offer a stream of the tournament, and fans can also catch the early coverage starting at 7:30 a.m. ET through various streaming services. “I think it’ll be a competitive round. We’ve got a strong field,” Lowry added.
With nearly all the top PGA Tour stars in contention, anticipation builds as the final round approaches. The stakes could not be higher, as golfers aim for top positions and substantial prize money in this signature event.
This year’s Truist Championship marks a notable shift, moving from its traditional location to Philadelphia for the first time. After this event, the Tour will return to Quail Hollow for the PGA Championship, where McIlroy has previously excelled.
