LOS ANGELES, CA — Apple TV Plus has unveiled a brief 95-second teaser for the upcoming fifth season of its hit series Slow Horses. The teaser, part of a larger preview of summer releases on the platform, also highlights new titles such as the Owen Wilson-led sports comedy Stick and the sci-fi thriller Murderbot, along with films like Fountain of Youth, featuring John Krasinski and Natalie Portman, and Echo Valley, starring Sydney Sweeney and Julianne Moore.

The sneak peek of Slow Horses provides a tantalizing glimpse of the City of London at night and features the show’s lead, Gary Oldman, as Jackson Lamb. Although the specific context of his scene remains a mystery, it appears he might be in an elevator inside a financial building, hinting at the show’s theme of espionage in high-stakes environments.

Slow Horses season four premiered to critical acclaim in September 2024, achieving a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Prior to that success, the series had already received an early renewal for a fifth season in January 2024. The commitment to the show continued with a sixth season renewal announced in October 2024 and a season six adaptation confirmed for January 2025.
