Former Manchester United Defender Gary Neville Joins Dragon's Den As Guest Investor

Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville is set to appear as a guest investor on the popular BBC One show Dragon’s Den. Alongside regular dragons Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davis, and Steven Bartlett, Neville will lend his business expertise to budding entrepreneurs seeking investment.

Neville, who enjoyed a successful football career with United, has diversified into various ventures since retiring. Besides his role as a pundit on Sky Sports, his business portfolio encompasses property, hospitality, education, media, and sport.

As a director of 56 businesses listed on Companies House, Neville holds a diverse range of interests in the media, hotels, pubs, restaurants, and education sectors. The estimated net worth of Neville is around £19.6 million, with his business empire valued at approximately £100 million.

Property development has been a significant part of Neville’s ventures since his early twenties, with a chain of hotels and townhouses under his belt. Notable projects include the Stock Exchange Hotel in London, where Neville holds a 40 percent stake, and the iconic Hotel Football overlooking Old Trafford.

In addition, Neville operates Tiger Sports, a firm specializing in residual image rights and sponsorship. He co-owns Buzz 16 Productions, which has produced popular programs like The Overlap and Sky’s Class of 92: Full Time.

Alongside his wife, Neville is a co-owner of Relentless Group and the Michelin-star restaurant, The Man Behind the Curtain. He also owns the Sir Ralph Abercromby, a well-known pub in Manchester.

Another significant investment by Neville is the co-ownership of League Two club Salford City, alongside former Class of 92 teammates Nicky Butt, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, and Ryan Giggs. Their investment has seen the club rise from the eighth tier to League Two.
