Fort Worth, Texas – Frankie Muniz faced another disappointing finish during the 2025 SpeedyCash.com 250 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday. His No. 33 Reaume Brothers Racing Ford F-150 suffered a front-right tire blowout, sending him crashing into the wall and marking his fourth ‘Did Not Finish’ (DNF) of the season.

Initially, Muniz managed to secure a spot in the top 15 during the second stage of the race. However, with just 29 laps remaining, the tire failure ended his chances for a strong finish. Over the team radio, he expressed his frustration, saying, “Dammit! How do I have this luck, man? I’m so tired of it!”

After the race, Muniz reflected on his struggles within the NASCAR Truck Series. “I consider myself lucky to have the opportunity to do it, but at the same time, I feel like, honestly, why am I here?” he admitted. His ongoing challenges stem not only from mechanical failures but also from balancing racing with his acting career.

Despite his past as a Hollywood actor, Muniz’s dedication to racing remains strong, yet he often finds himself questioning the sacrifices he makes. “I just don’t know why I’m risking my safety and my family and all the other things for what? To crash at 190 miles an hour?” he pondered.

Many of his DNFs this season have resulted from issues outside his control. “Just right front blew. I just, I cannot catch a break,” Muniz added. He emphasized the difficulty of staying motivated when battles on the track feel dictated by random circumstances.

Fans have had mixed reactions to his performance. While some support Muniz, others suggest he should return to acting instead of pursuing racing. Following this incident, he took to social media to apologize for his emotional outburst over the radio, stating, “Sorry to anyone listening to my radio when my right front blew. I just want this so bad…sometimes my passion gets the better of me.” Muniz will now look ahead to the upcoming Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway, hoping to turn his luck around.
