Georgia Harrison Wins Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins Amidst Personal Struggles
The popular British television series, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, culminated in a noteworthy victory for Georgia Harrison—recognized for both her reality TV presence and activism. The show, aired on Channel 4, sees celebrities undergoing intense military-style training overseen by ex-special forces operatives.
Harrison, aged 29, who initially gained public attention through her participation in ITV‘s Love Island and The Only Way is Essex, emerged as one of the two winners of the competition. Her triumph was shared with professional boxer Lani Daniels. Reflecting on her experience, Harrison attributes part of her preparation to rigorous training at the No1 Bootcamp in Heacham, Norfolk, led by chief instructor Gee Leary.
“A lot of the trainers have military backgrounds, which meant not just in the weeks leading up to the course but actually over the years of going there I really adapted the mindset and understanding I needed as well as my physical strength,” Harrison shared with her 1.3 million Instagram followers. Her training included swimming fully clothed in the North Sea, enhancing her readiness for the challenges presented by the show.
The win comes after a tumultuous period for Harrison, who has been vocal about her previous legal battle involving her ex, Stephen Bear. The ITV documentary Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear follows her legal proceedings against Bear, who was convicted and jailed in 2023 for unauthorized distribution of intimate material.
Harrison’s victory in the competition coincides with her ongoing advocacy and public appearances, emphasizing legal reforms for image-based sexual abuse. Her public engagements include speaking at political conferences, where she has expressed the need for stronger protections for victims of online abuse.
