Milwaukee, WIGiannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are gearing up to face the Indiana Pacers for Game 4 of their first-round NBA playoff series on Sunday. The Bucks find themselves trailing 1-2 in the series and hope to even the score at home in the Fiserv Forum.

Antetokounmpo has been impressive thus far, averaging 35.7 points in the first three games of the postseason. This scoring rate marks the highest average of his playoff career and positions him as the top scorer in the league. Additionally, he is pulling down an impressive 14 rebounds per game, demonstrating his all-around dominance on the court.

The two-time regular-season MVP is shooting an eye-popping 67.7% from the field, making him the first player ever to begin a postseason with three consecutive games of over 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 60% shooting. His efficient scoring is bolstered by primarily taking smart shots from inside the 2-point range.

In the previous game, the Bucks managed a crucial 117-101 win against the Pacers, narrowing the series gap to 2-1. Antetokounmpo’s standout performance, however, is not the only factor contributing to the Bucks’ success. Guard Gary Trent Jr. made a mark in his playoff debut by scoring 37 points and hitting nine 3-pointers, tying an NBA playoff record.

Despite a rocky start in Game 1, when the Bucks shot only 41.7%, they rebounded in Game 2 with a field goal percentage of 50.6%. Coach Rivers acknowledged the team’s need to improve on defense, citing repeated mistakes and missed rotations as factors in their previous losses to the Pacers.

As Antetokounmpo continues to shine, the pressure mounts for the Bucks. With their playoff hopes on the line, they must secure a win in Game 4 to keep their championship aspirations alive. A loss would leave them staring at potential elimination in the first round once again.
