Giants Sign Wide Receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey to One-Year Deal

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants bolstered their wide receiver corps on Friday by signing former Denver Broncos receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey to a one-year contract. The addition of the 26-year-old Humphrey aims to provide depth behind the team’s projected starters Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Darius Slayton.
Humphrey had a standout season with the Broncos, posting a career-high 31 receptions for 293 yards and one touchdown, playing all 17 regular-season games in 2023. His overall NFL career spans six seasons, during which he compiled 62 catches for 770 yards and seven touchdowns.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the New Orleans Saints in 2019, Humphrey spent three seasons with the team before a brief stint with the New England Patriots in 2022. He joined the Broncos in the offseason but faced challenges, getting cut during training camp before being re-signed to the practice squad.
In the last two seasons, he appeared in every game, making 15 starts, including a playoff game against the Buffalo Bills in January.
The Giants are looking to enhance their offensive depth ahead of the upcoming season, and Humphrey’s experience could be a valuable asset in their pursuit of success.
