Glastonbury Festival 2025 Tickets Sale

Music fans are gearing up as standard tickets for the Glastonbury Festival 2025 are set to go on sale starting at 9am on Sunday, November 17. This general sale follows a week after the festival announced significant changes to its ticket booking process. Instead of being held at a landing page, hopeful customers will now be assigned to a queue to access the booking system, a move aimed at addressing issues such as dynamic pricing and ticket touting.

The new system is part of a broader effort to improve the ticket-buying experience and prevent touting. Fans must register in advance to purchase tickets for the event, which will take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 25 to 29, 2025. The tickets are priced at £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee, marking a £18.50 increase from the 2024 price.

The first batch of tickets, coach tickets, went on sale on Thursday and sold out within 30 minutes, mirroring the high demand seen in previous years. Last year, coach tickets sold out in 25 minutes, and standard tickets were all bought within an hour of going on sale. The festival’s notorious difficulty in securing tickets is well-documented, with 2.5 million people registering for tickets in 2019, while only 143,000 were available.

Festival organizer Emily Eavis has confirmed that 2026 will be a fallow year for Glastonbury to allow the land to rest and recover. However, she is already in talks with acts to headline the 2025 event. The 2024 festival was notable for featuring two female headliners on the Pyramid Stage, Dua Lipa and SZA, and Coldplay made history by headlining the festival for the fifth time.

The festival’s location at Worthy Farm near Pilton in Somerset remains unchanged, with the event scheduled to run from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29, 2025.
