Gov. Kristi Noem on Donald Trump’s 2024 Presidential Victory: A Strong Ally’s Reaction
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has been a steadfast supporter of former President Donald Trump, and her reaction to his victory in the 2024 presidential election reflects their strong alliance. On Tuesday evening, Noem attended Trump’s event in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she had earlier voiced her support for him on social media before the polls concluded.
Noem expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm for Trump’s leadership, stating, “You’ve always supported us, Mr. President. Thank you for your relentless fight for freedom and for being a friend. I’m eager to see you lead our nation once more.”
This is not the first time Noem has shown her support for Trump. At the 2024 Republican National Convention, she highlighted her experience as governor under both the Biden and Trump administrations, emphasizing the importance of the White House occupant and attributing South Dakota’s economic successes to Trump’s policies. Noem has consistently praised Trump, calling him “our champion” who “will never cease fighting for us.”
Noem and Trump have maintained a friendly relationship, with notable interactions including a 2018 gubernatorial visit, a fireworks event at Mount Rushmore, and a rally in Rapid City last year where she endorsed his presidential bid. Her memoir, “No Going Back,” however, had sparked some controversy and scrutiny, briefly affecting her consideration as a potential running mate for Trump.
In her recent reaction on social media, Noem celebrated Trump’s victory, saying, “The Dakotas are happy to celebrate the 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump!” This sentiment reflects her ongoing support and optimism for Trump’s leadership.
