Hassie Harrison on Newlywed Life, Holiday Plans, and Her Career

Hassie Harrison, the actress known for her role as Laramie in the popular western drama ‘Yellowstone,’ has been basking in the joy of newlywed life with her co-star and husband, Ryan Bingham. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Harrison described their new life together as “an absolute dream.”

The couple, who play onscreen lovers on ‘Yellowstone,’ made their real-life love public in 2023 and tied the knot in a ‘black-tie cowboy’-themed wedding in Dallas last May. Since then, they have been navigating a busy year filled with work commitments. Bingham, who is also a country singer, has been on a world tour, while Harrison has been filming an upcoming horror thriller in Australia.

Despite their hectic schedules, the couple has managed to spend quality time together. “He joined me for a bit in Australia while I filmed the movie, and then I spent some time on the road with him during his latest tour,” Harrison explained. “And, of course, there was some crossover when we filmed Yellowstone in Montana.”

As the holiday season approaches, Harrison and Bingham are looking forward to their first Christmas as husband and wife. Harrison, who is all about tradition, plans to continue the sentimental holiday practices she grew up with. The couple will be heading to Harrison’s home state of Texas to spend the holidays with family.

Bingham, a Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter who was previously married to actress and filmmaker Anna Axster, brings a rich background to their relationship. He shares three children with his ex-wife and has a history of bull riding in his teens. Harrison, who grew up in Dallas and began her acting career in local children’s theater, has a deep passion for acting that was inspired by watching classic comedies like ‘Grumpier Old Men.’
