British heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora has been captured in a controversial altercation with a Deliveroo rider on the streets of London.

Chisora, a former title contender, was reportedly having a meal with his daughters in the upscale area of Hampstead when the incident unfolded.

Footage showed Chisora requesting the cyclist to dismount due to safety concerns for pedestrians and children in the vicinity.

However, the situation escalated when the cyclist refused, leading to a heated argument and physical altercation.

The video circulating on social media captured Chisora headbutting the delivery driver, causing him to fall to the ground.

Amid the commotion, witnesses can be heard expressing shock and urging the individuals to separate.

Police were called to the scene, but no immediate action was taken, with both parties reportedly being involved in the dispute.

The incident comes just weeks before Chisora is scheduled to face fellow British heavyweight Joe Joyce in a highly anticipated bout at The O2 Arena in London.

Chisora, who last fought against Gerald Washington in August last year, aims to make a triumphant return to the ring following his previous victories and setbacks.

His upcoming opponent, Joe Joyce, has also been on a quest for redemption after recent losses to Zhilei Zhang tarnished his previously unblemished record.

Promoter Frank Warren emphasized the significance of the Chisora-Joyce matchup, labeling it as a pivotal clash between two top London heavyweights vying for a shot at championship glory.

With the boxing world eagerly anticipating the showdown, the bout promises to be a true test of skill and determination for both fighters as they vie for a path back to the pinnacle of the sport.
