Hero Motocorp Launches The New Hero Xtreme 125r In The Indian Market

Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially launched its new bike, the Hero Xtreme 125R, in the budget segment of the Indian market. Priced at INR 95,000 (ex-showroom), this sporty bike comes with an attractive look and a powerful engine, setting it apart from other motorcycles in Hero MotoCorp’s lineup.

The Hero Xtreme 125R offers several features that are a first in its segment, such as a single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) and LED lighting. The bike has been generating a lot of buzz in the market for some time now, with leaked images surfacing on the internet recently. However, it has finally been officially launched for sale.

The bike is equipped with a new 125cc air-cooled engine, which produces 11.5 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm. Hero MotoCorp claims that this engine provides smooth power response and instant torque generation. It also features Hero MotoCorp’s engine balancer technology (EBT). When it comes to acceleration, the bike can go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.9 seconds and offers a mileage of 66 km per liter. It also includes Hero MotoCorp’s i3S idle start/stop technology.

The Hero Xtreme 125R is available in two variants – Xtreme 125R IBS priced at INR 95,000 and Xtreme 125R ABS priced at INR 99,500 (ex-showroom). The bike comes with a 37mm telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock suspension. It is equipped with a 276mm disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The top variant also includes a single-channel ABS.
