Holly Madison Open to Mending Fences with Kendra Wilkinson

LOS ANGELES, CA — Holly Madison expressed her willingness to mend her friendship with Kendra Wilkinson, her former co-star from “The Girls Next Door.” In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Madison, 45, stated, “It would be nice to be on good terms for sure, but I really don’t know where she’s at.” This admission comes ahead of the premiere of her new series, “The Playboy Murders,” set to debut on Monday, May 5.
Madison reflected on their past relationship, suggesting that much of the conflict stemmed from the executive producers of their shows. She noted, “I look back at our relationship and what went wrong and I see a lot of fault with executive producers who were working on her show and my show after we left.” Madison believes that a lot of the drama may have originated during that time.
Kendra Wilkinson, 39, has also opened up about her feelings regarding their time at the Playboy Mansion, admitting to feeling uncomfortable and not fully connecting with Madison and Bridget Marquardt, another former co-star. She stated, “I wasn’t really a ‘girl’s girl’ at that point in life. I was more of a ‘guy’s girl,’ so we never really bonded. I was always the third wheel.”
The relationship between the two has been rocky, marked by harsh criticisms from both sides over the years. In her 2015 memoir, Madison called Wilkinson “the fakest person [she’d] ever met,” while Wilkinson criticized Madison for being ungrateful for her time in the mansion. The feud escalated when Wilkinson took to social media to call out Madison’s remarks about her experiences at the mansion.
Despite their difficult past, Madison is hopeful for reconciliation. “If I knew Kendra’s stance on reconciling our friendship, I’d have a better idea of how to best move forward,” she said. Madison, who now serves as the executive producer and host for “The Playboy Murders,” emphasized her desire to escape the negativity of their feud.
As for what’s next, Madison teased that the upcoming season of “The Playboy Murders” will be “really special,” showcasing stories that are both complex and layered. The show airs on ID at 9:00 pm ET on Mondays and streams on Max.
