Idris and Sabrina Elba Share Date Night Insights and New Album Plans

London, UK — Idris and Sabrina Elba recently opened up about their relationship and shared plans for their upcoming album during an interview with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi.

While discussing their busy schedules, Sabrina revealed that date nights can vary from staying in to enjoying outings. “Date night could be chilling on the couch, which we’re both happy to do after a long day, or it could be a nice night out in London. We went to the Usher concert together recently, which was a lot of fun,” she said.

Sabrina is currently working on a music project titled “No Lip Service” in collaboration with Idris, which ties in with their beauty brand, S’Able Labs Skincare. She explained that the album is about merging music and beauty through Black identity. “African beauty is rooted in oral tradition, so to be able to share an oral experience of wellness has been amazing,” she stated.

Sabrina also shared her philosophy on beauty, noting, “Beauty is not only what you put on your skin. It’s what you eat, it’s what you hear, it’s how you feel.” She offered advice for couples working together, expressing the importance of boundaries. “I’m not going to say it’s always easy. It’s like a shared goal that we have together, a shared vision, a shared dream,” she added.

Idris, an accomplished actor and DJ, has incorporated music into his career, having performed at various high-profile events, including the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Sabrina enthusiastically mentioned, “For me to kind of enter his world, I love it! I’m obsessed.”
