IGT Launches High-Tech Wheel of Fortune Slot Cabinet in U.S. Casinos

LONDON, UK – International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has introduced its new Wheel of Fortune DiamondRS™ Premium Wheel cabinet in casinos across the United States. Players at Sky River Casino in Elk Grove, California, and Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, were among the first to experience this innovative mechanical-reel cabinet on April 21, 2025.
This launch is part of IGT’s growing portfolio of Wheel of Fortune products in 2025. The cabinet features advanced technology, including a 20-inch physical wheel, a 32-inch LCD top box, and a 23-inch transmissive display, all designed to enhance the gaming experience.
Nick Khin, IGT President of Global Gaming, stated, “The U.S. market arrival of IGT’s Wheel of Fortune DiamondRS Premium Wheel cabinet is the latest of many exciting Wheel of Fortune product introductions for 2025. The cabinet’s transmissive IGT Diamond Glass allows our game designers to create unique lower-box content for stepper-style games, ensuring high-quality entertainment that players expect from Wheel of Fortune slots.”
The newly launched games, Wheel of Fortune Cash Link™ Reels Double Diamond™ and Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Reels Double Gold, are part of IGT’s Ultra Link, which offers a wide-area progressive (WAP) network with a jackpot reset value of $1.125 million.
Earlier this month, IGT also showcased its Wheel of Fortune Video Poker at Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, combining traditional poker gameplay with the Wheel of Fortune experience. This reflects IGT’s ongoing innovation in the gaming sector, making it a significant competitor in both physical and digital gaming markets.
