The celebrated rivalry between India and Pakistan is set to take center stage once again as both teams headline Pool C in the Hong Kong Sixes tournament. This marquee clash is scheduled to occur on November 1, 2024, as part of the round-robin stage in the tournament. In addition to the subcontinental giants, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) forms the third team in Pool C.

This year’s tournament marks the return of the Hong Kong Sixes after a seven-year hiatus. Highlighting its unique six-a-side format, the tournament promises high-intensity matches that are sure to capture the attention of cricket enthusiasts worldwide. According to the organizers, this edition is packed with competitive action and promises ‘More Teams, More Sixes, More Excitement, and Maximum thrills.’

Cricket Hong Kong announced the fixtures via social media, expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming event. “Team India is gearing up to smash it out of the park at HK6! Prepare for explosive power hitting and a storm of sixes that will electrify the crowd!” read one of their promotional posts.

The tournament structure includes twelve matches during the group stage, followed by six Bowl Matches and the quarterfinals. The semi-finals, divided into plate and main categories, will unfold on November 3, culminating in the Bowl Final, Plate Final, and Cup Final on the same day. Pool A includes South Africa, New Zealand, and the hosts Hong Kong; Pool B features Australia, England, and Nepal; and Pool D comprises Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Oman.
