India's Spin Duo Kuldeep Yadav And Ravichandran Ashwin Tear Through England In 5th Test At Dharamshala

India’s spinner duo, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin, showcased their brilliance on Day 1 of the 5th Test at Dharamshala as they dismantled the English batting lineup.

The day started with England opting to bat first but quickly lost their openers, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett, to the relentless bowling of Indian pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.

However, Crawley put together a spirited half-century, displaying exquisite strokeplay, before Kuldeep Yadav intervened and wreaked havoc with his deceptive spin.

Yadav’s magical deliveries spun sharply to dismiss key England batters, including Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow.

Meanwhile, England’s skipper Ben Stokes failed to provide resistance as Ashwin joined the party to scalp vital wickets.

India’s stalwart, Rohit Sharma, led the team with determination as young debutant Devdutt Padikkal made his mark in the playing XI.

England’s lineup crumbled under the pressure of India’s spin attack, comprising Ravindra Jadeja and the seasoned Ashwin and Kuldeep.

By the end of the day, England managed to post just 218 runs on the board, a testament to India’s dominant bowling performance.

The match sets the stage for an intense battle between two cricketing giants on the picturesque grounds of Dharamshala.
