India Women’s Cricket Team Clinches Series with 3-0 Victory Against South Africa
India‘s women’s cricket team secured a commanding victory against South Africa in the third ODI, sweeping the series 3-0 with a six-wicket win.
In the final match, South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. Despite Laura’s 61 runs, they could only muster 215 runs in their allotted 50 overs, losing 8 wickets. Deepthi Sharma and Arundhati Reddy took 2 wickets each for India.
In response, India chased down the target in just 40.4 overs, led by Smriti Mandhana‘s impressive 90 and Harmanpreet Kaur‘s 42 runs.
Under Harmanpreet Kaur’s captaincy, the Indian team had already dominated the series, winning the first two matches convincingly.
