IndiGo Launches New Non-Stop Flight from Kochi to Ras Al Khaimah

PUNE, India – IndiGo, India’s prominent airline, announced the commencement of a new daily direct flight between Kochi and Ras Al Khaimah, effective March 15, 2025. This strategic move enhances connectivity between Kerala and the United Arab Emirates, providing travelers with more efficient options for transcontinental travel.

The introduction of this route comes in response to the increasing demand for direct flights from passengers, particularly those living in Kerala and working in the UAE. IndiGo’s decision highlights its aim to accommodate the needs of Keralites by providing enhanced access to the flourishing emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, known for its heritage and luxury tourism.

“We are pleased to announce direct flights between Kochi and Ras Al Khaimah,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo. “These flights will enhance accessibility to Ras Al Khaimah’s luxury resorts and cultural heritage while boosting trade and investment opportunities between India and the UAE. With these new flights, IndiGo will offer a total of 49 weekly direct flights between Kerala and the UAE and over 250 flights overall,” he added.

Ras Al Khaimah, the northernmost emirate of the UAE, offers a distinct travel experience, characterized by its unspoiled landscapes, rich history, and diverse adventure activities. Starting March 15, 2025, Flight 6E 1517 will depart Kochi at 9:15 PM, arriving in Ras Al Khaimah at 11:00 PM. The return flight, Flight 6E 1518, will leave Ras Al Khaimah at 1:10 AM, landing in Kochi at 6:35 AM.
