Shantel Ennis Truck Crash Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 29-year-old Jacksonville woman was identified as the victim of a fatal truck crash on Sunday, May 25. Shantel Ennis died when the truck she was in collided with a crash barrier near Riverside Avenue and the Acosta Bridge, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The GoFundMe account established for Ennis described her as a mother of seven and a beloved member of the community. Friends and family remembered her as a “beautiful soul” who enjoyed making others laugh, playing pranks, and sharing meals.

“She had a vibrant personality and warm heart that touched everyone she met,” the GoFundMe page stated. “Now, in this time of unimaginable loss, we are asking for help to give her the homegoing service she deserves.”

In addition to Ennis, a 38-year-old driver and a one-year-old child suffered injuries in the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.

At the time of her death, Ennis was engaged and had dreams of creating a family-focused future. Donors can contribute to the GoFundMe to assist in covering her funeral expenses.
