JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars bolstered their defense Saturday by selecting linebacker Jack Kiser from Notre Dame with the No. 107 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Kiser, standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 231 pounds, enjoyed a successful six-year career with the Fighting Irish, amassing 275 career tackles, six sacks, and four interceptions. He also contributed significantly on special teams, recording nearly 1,000 snaps throughout his college tenure.

This selection marks Kiser as the sixth Notre Dame player drafted by the Jaguars, the first since defensive tackle Sheldon Day in 2016. Kiser’s drafting follows the Jaguars’ earlier selections, including Colorado receiver Travis Hunter as the No. 2 overall pick and Tulane safety Caleb Ransaw at No. 88.

During his senior season in 2024, Kiser recorded career-highs with 90 tackles, five sacks, and four interceptions. He showcased his capabilities at both the Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine, improving his draft stock significantly. Commenting on his experience leading Notre Dame, Kiser said, “It’s the people that have made this place different.”

Despite not being a pressing need for the Jaguars, Kiser adds depth at linebacker as the team’s Devin Lloyd heads for free agency in 2026. His reliability as a tackler and success as a blitzing linebacker are strengths that NFL teams look for, even if he might face challenges in coverage.

Kiser will join the Jaguars as they look to enhance their defensive strength and continue building upon their foundation for the upcoming season.
