LOS ANGELES, CA — Jelly Roll, the country music artist known for his candidness, recently shared a humorous yet cringe-worthy anecdote during an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show“. In the episode aired on April 17, the singer, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, revealed he had a memorable mishap while performing live.

While discussing embarrassing moments, Jelly Roll admitted, “I pooped myself one time. I did, I’m sorry.” The admission drew laughter from host Jennifer Hudson and fellow guests as the artist recalled the incident.

Jelly Roll explained that he had no idea the situation was unfolding until it happened. “I was confident it was all air,” he said, noting the crowd’s reaction as it shifted from adoration to disbelief. “I watched this crowd go from loving me to just being completely out,” he added. Despite the uncomfortable revelation, he jokingly remarked, “And I overshared again.”

In addition to this incident, Jelly Roll emphasized his ongoing journey toward better health, having opened up about significant weight loss. During a previous episode on April 9, he shared, “I started at 540 pounds, and I was 357 pounds this morning.” Jelly Roll, who has been married to Bunnie XO since 2016, also expressed ambitious goals regarding his health, stating, “I’m gonna lose another 100 pounds, and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby!”

The singer has been transparent about his struggles and triumphs on the road to improved health. He acknowledged, “The things that motivate me and keep me going are the people I have met along the way across the juveniles and rehab centers or prisons.” He is inspired by fans who share their sobering stories and commemorate their own health journeys.

Jelly Roll’s transformation and journey resonate with many, illustrating the ups and downs of health awareness and personal accountability. He recently remarked on the importance of keeping it real, stating, “Lower back hurt a little bit today. But you can’t go to the swimming pool and think you ain’t gonna get wet lol.” His commitment to health is evident in his daily routines, including walking two to three miles a day, eating healthier, and overcoming challenges along the way.

The singer is set to headline the 2025 Stagecoach Festival on April 26, showcasing not only his musical talents but also his refreshingly relatable personality.
