Joe Biden Signs with CAA, Eyes Post-Presidency Career in Media and Speaking
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Former President Joe Biden has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of Hollywood’s most prominent talent firms, to manage his post-presidential career. The announcement, made on Feb. 4, 2025, marks Biden’s return to the agency, which previously represented him from 2017 to 2020.
“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” said Richard Lovett, CAA’s co-chairman, in a statement. “His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”
While speculation about Biden potentially pursuing acting roles has surfaced, sources indicate that CAA will likely focus on securing speaking engagements and publishing deals. During his first stint with the agency, Biden’s “American Promise Tour” drew 85,000 attendees, and he published the memoir “Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship and Purpose.”
Biden, who served as the 46th president of the United States, has long been known for his oratory skills and ability to connect with audiences. His return to CAA signals a strategic move to leverage his experience and influence in the media and public speaking arenas.
“This partnership reflects President Biden’s enduring commitment to sharing his story and inspiring others,” a CAA spokesperson said. The agency also noted that Biden’s previous work with them demonstrated his ability to resonate with diverse audiences, a quality they aim to build upon in this new chapter.
