Jonathan Majors’ Ex-Girlfriend Grace Jabbari Drops Assault and Defamation Lawsuit
Grace Jabbari, the ex-girlfriend of actor Jonathan Majors, has dropped her lawsuit against him, which included allegations of assault and defamation. The lawsuit, filed in March 2024, detailed multiple instances of physical and verbal abuse that Jabbari claimed she endured during their relationship, which began in 2021.
According to court documents, Jabbari agreed to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice, meaning the claims cannot be filed again. The lawsuit was settled favorably, although the specifics of the settlement were not disclosed. Jabbari’s lawyer, Brittany Henderson, praised her client’s courage throughout the process and expressed hope that Jabbari could now move forward.
The allegations in the lawsuit included an incident in March 2023 where Majors was found guilty of third-degree reckless assault and second-degree harassment. During this incident, Jabbari testified that Majors physically assaulted her in a car after she saw a text message on his phone. Majors was sentenced to one year of counseling in April 2024.
The case against Majors had significant repercussions on his career. Following his conviction, Marvel Studios dropped him from his role as Kang the Conqueror, a key villain in their upcoming movies and TV shows. However, Majors has recently begun to reemerge in the Hollywood scene, with his film “Magazine Dreams” being acquired for theatrical release and his engagement to actress Meagan Good announced earlier this month).
