Kanye West Livestreaming Donda Influencers

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Kanye West recently insisted that he should receive credit for shaping livestreaming culture during a discussion on AkademiksTV. The rapper mentioned that his high-profile livestreams while creating his 2021 album, “Donda,” were innovative and laid the groundwork for others, including streamer Kai Cenat.

“I invented the streaming s**t with Donda,” West stated. He expressed frustration over other entertainers taking inspiration from his format without acknowledging his contributions. The livestreams, held in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, showcased West’s creative process, and he believes they set a new standard for future broadcasts.

Kai Cenat gained recognition for his engaging livestream content and has been called a major figure on platforms like Twitch. Nonetheless, West feels that Cenat’s achievements are built on his pioneering efforts. “No, this n***a gon’ tell me, ‘Oh, Kai Cenat had n***as in the prison,'” West continued. “That was my whole s**t. Sleeping in the stadium. N***as is taking the whole swag and running with it.”

The history between West and Cenat includes past tensions, stemming back to when West sent Cenat a merchandise package that didn’t fit. After Cenat’s humorous comments about it on his stream, West responded, stating, “F**k that n***a corny.” Despite their back-and-forth, both have shown hints of mutual respect over time.

This latest outburst raises questions about whether their relationship will escalate into a more serious conflict or remain a series of viral moments. West’s strong claims spotlight his desire for acknowledgment in the rapidly changing landscape of digital media and entertainment.
