According to The Sun, the eyewitness described Kate as appearing ‘happy, relaxed, and healthy’ during her shopping excursion with Prince William by her side. Her children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, were not with the couple during this outing.

The sighting marked the first time Kate has been observed in a public setting since the controversy surrounding the altered Mother's Day photograph emerged.
