Keegan Bradley Prepares for Final Round of 2025 PGA Championship

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — Keegan Bradley, the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup captain, faces a crucial final round at the PGA Championship, trailing by six strokes. He expressed concerns about treacherous playing conditions that could complicate the tournament’s outcome.
Having earned his Ryder Cup captaincy last year, Bradley has a shot at clinching his second PGA Championship title, a major win since he last celebrated at the Atlanta Athletic Club in 2011. After shooting a solid three-under 68 on a windy Saturday, Bradley climbed to a tie for eighth at five-under.
Following his round, Bradley commended his performance, particularly the last five holes where he scored three under. “It was great. It was really difficult out there. Any round under par is a great score,” he stated, reflecting on the challenges presented by the course.
Leading into Sunday, Bradley warned competitors about persistent mud balls affecting play at Quail Hollow. Despite a quieter Saturday in terms of complaints, he experienced problematic shots himself. “You have to really hang tough because there are still wicked mud balls out there,” he said. “There are some holes that you can make birdies on, but holes like the last three are just really, really difficult.”
He remains hopeful about his chances, knowing the tough finishing holes could allow for surprises. “No matter what happens tomorrow, with these finishing holes, you just never know what’s going to happen,” Bradley remarked. “Hopefully, I’ll go out there and shoot a great score.”
As he anticipates the Sunday push, Bradley also looks ahead to the Ryder Cup, acknowledging the strong performances of U.S. teammates. “I love looking up there and seeing the leaderboard packed with Americans,” he said, excited about Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau‘s standings.
Bradley is set to tee off for Sunday’s final round at 2:10 p.m. ET, with hopes of claiming the Wanamaker trophy once again.
