Keegan Bradley Scores Hole-in-One at Genesis Invitational

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Keegan Bradley made headlines during the final round of The Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines on February 16, 2025, by scoring a hole-in-one at the iconic third hole. This remarkable feat provided a thrilling highlight for spectators and Bradley himself, as he spun his shot back from 155 yards, sinking it for his third ace on the PGA Tour.
Bradley’s achievement marked the fifth hole-in-one in three weeks on the PGA Tour and the second in as many days at Torrey Pines. His ace contributed to the growing trend of aces this year, as 2025 has already seen a total of seven on the PGA Tour, averaging one per week. Notably, before Bradley’s shot, the last ace at the third hole occurred during the 2021 Farmers Insurance Open, when Richy Werenski made a memorable play.
With this spectacular shot, Bradley moved to even par for the weekend and eight strokes behind the leaders. “It’s always thrilling to make an ace,” said Bradley after his round. “I was just trying to get it close, but I never expected it to go in. It definitely added some excitement out there today.”
Bradley’s hole-in-one also made him the first American to score an ace on the PGA Tour this year, following six consecutive aces by international players. The ongoing frequency of holes-in-one at events has renewed interest in the sport, showcasing the precision and skill of today’s top golfers.
