Keeneland Kentucky Derby Celebration

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Horse racing fans looking to celebrate the Kentucky Derby outside of Churchill Downs can enjoy an exciting event at Keeneland on Saturday, May 3.

Tickets for the Derby Day celebration at Keeneland are priced at $10 for general admission, while children 12 and under can enter for free with an adult. Gates open at 10 a.m. and parking is complimentary, making it easy for families to attend.

Attendees can look forward to live music, food trucks, and family activities along with horse racing events. The track will broadcast the entire Derby Day coverage on monitors throughout the facility, ensuring fans won’t miss any action from Churchill Downs.

For those who prefer to tailgate, Keeneland will allow fans to do so on The Hill without needing a ticket or reservation, offering a large television screen to watch the races and betting opportunities on site.

Additionally, Keeneland is providing a drive-thru betting service near the Entertainment Center for those who want to place bets without staying for the entire event. The drive-thru will be operational during the Kentucky Oaks on May 2 and on Derby Day.

Advance wagering will be available for the full card of the Kentucky Derby and the Oaks, with specific times outlined for fans planning to visit.

Overall, Keeneland is set to offer a unique and festive atmosphere for horse racing enthusiasts, making it an appealing alternative to the traditional Derby experience at Churchill Downs.
