Kentucky Wildcats Ncaa Baseball Tournament 2025

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Kentucky Wildcats baseball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive year, a first in the school’s history. The Wildcats will compete in the Clemson Regional, which features 11th-seeded Clemson, USC Upstate, and West Virginia.

The regional kicks off with Kentucky facing West Virginia on Friday at noon, available on ESPNU. The match marks an exciting opening round for both teams, as they battle for advancement in the tournament.

Kentucky ended its season with an overall record of 29-24 and a Southeastern Conference record of 13-17. The team led in 28 of its 31 conference games, showcasing both potential and challenges throughout the season.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) proved strong this year, with the top four overall seeds and half of the national seeds represented in the tournament. This further highlights the competitiveness of SEC baseball on a national level.
