Nfl Week 11 Stats And Player Performances

As the NFL enters Week 11 of the 2024 season, several key statistics and player performances are shaping the league’s landscape. One notable trend is the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ improved play-action game with Russell Wilson at quarterback. Since Week 7, the Steelers have averaged 10.3 yards per attempt on play-action passes, a significant increase from their earlier season average of 5.2 yards per attempt.

Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans continues to dominate on the ground, leading the NFL with 651 rushing yards after contact. However, he faces a tough test against the Steelers defense, which allows only 2.5 yards after contact per attempt, the third-best mark in the league.

In the quarterback department, Bo Nix of the Indianapolis Colts has stood out for his ability to avoid sacks and turnover-worthy plays. Nix has a 1.5% turnover-worthy play rate, ranking third-lowest among qualifying quarterbacks, and a pressure-to-sack rate of 14.5%, which is the sixth-lowest in the league.

The Minnesota VikingsJustin Jefferson is having another stellar season, leading all receivers with 783 receiving yards and five touchdowns. His performance will be crucial as the Vikings face the Tennessee Titans, who have their own challenges in containing explosive plays.

Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers has been PFF’s top-graded passer since Week 7, particularly excelling on deep passes with 13 completions, 449 pass yards, and four touchdowns on throws of 20-plus yards. However, he faces a tough test against the Cincinnati Bengals, who have allowed the third-lowest completion rate on deep passes at 26%.

The Washington Commanders, after a tough matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, are looking to improve their stats. They have 321 total first downs, with 99 coming from rushing, 190 from passing, and 32 from penalties. The Commanders have also converted 77 out of 216 third-down attempts and 16 out of 29 fourth-down attempts.

In terms of team performance, the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills matchup highlights the ongoing rivalry between Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce against the Bills. Since Mahomes became a starter in 2018, Kelce has led all pass-catchers with 40 receiving conversions and eight receiving touchdowns against the Bills.
