Seattle Kraken Vs Anaheim Ducks Hockey Game

The Seattle Kraken are set to host the Anaheim Ducks in a rematch at Climate Pledge Arena on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. This game follows the Kraken’s 3-2 victory over the Ducks on Monday night in Anaheim. The Kraken, currently standing at 11-10-1, aim to continue their strong performance at home, where they have won five of their last six games.

The Ducks, with a record of 8-9-3, are looking to bounce back from their recent loss. However, they will be without key players such as Leo Carlsson, who was injured in the previous game, and Mason McTavish, who is on injured reserve. To compensate, the Ducks will adjust their lines, with McTavish moving up to the first line and Isac Lundeström filling in on the third line.

The Kraken’s special teams will be a key focus, as they seek to improve their power play performance after going 2-for-24 in recent opportunities. Coach Dan Bylsma highlighted the need for better attacking and shot focus during power plays, following a game where the Kraken hit several posts but failed to capitalize.

Jared McCann, Matty Beniers, and AndrĂ© Burakovsky form a potent line for the Kraken, with McCann recently earning an assist and Burakovsky scoring his first goal of the season. This line’s chemistry and potential to activate further could be a significant boost for the team.

The game will be broadcast on KONG, KING 5, and available for streaming through Fubo and ESPN+. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 PM PT, with the puck drop scheduled for 10:00 PM ET.
