Kristin Cavallari Clarifies Relationship with Bobby Flay Amid Dating Rumors

MIAMI, Fla. — Kristin Cavallari recently addressed the swirling rumors about her relationship with celebrity chef Bobby Flay during a podcast episode broadcasted Tuesday. The 38-year-old star of ‘The Hills’ confirmed that she met up with Flay, 60, and his new girlfriend Brooke Williamson, 46, for drinks in Miami, expressing her admiration for Williamson.

“I really liked her a lot,” Cavallari said, adding, “I’m really happy for him.” Despite her friendly interactions with Flay, Cavallari sought to clarify any misconceptions linking her to the chef romantically.

The founder of Uncommon James further responded to headlines suggesting a romantic rejection on her part regarding Flay. She recalled receiving texts from him about those articles, stating, “All of the headlines from him coming out with his new girlfriend include me in it!”

Cavallari emphasized, “It wasn’t a rejection. We cleared up everything.” She expressed her sympathy for Flay in light of the headlines, noting, “How am I in Bobby Flay’s headlines about his new relationship?”

Elaborating on the nature of their friendship, she insisted, “Bobby is one of my good friends.” While she acknowledged there was a point when Flay expressed interest in taking her for dinner, she stated it was a miscommunication.

Flay joined Cavallari as a guest on her podcast in October 2024, recalling his request to take her out for dinner. However, Cavallari had initially interpreted his invitation through a dating lens and mentioned that she was “burnt out on dating” at that time. The two have since established a strictly platonic relationship.

Reports of Flay’s new relationship with Williamson surfaced last month, with sources indicating that the two have turned their long-standing friendship into a romance. A source disclosed to People that “love bloomed” between them over recent weeks, particularly following Williamson’s divorce, which she finalized in early 2024.

In another segment of the same podcast episode, Cavallari also addressed long-standing rumors that she had dated actor Chris Evans. She categorically denied any romantic connection, stating, “I never dated Chris Evans. Never, ever, ever, ever. Didn’t even go on one date. Literally nothing ever happened.”

She attributed the mix-up to their overlapping friend groups and requested media outlets to remove Evans from any association with her dating history.

Cavallari also reiterated a previous claim about her relationship with her ‘Hills’ co-star Justin Bobby Brescia, stressing that her interactions with him were mainly for the show.

Additionally, on Tuesday, Cavallari announced that her daughter Saylor, 9, has launched a children’s jewelry collection in collaboration with Uncommon James. The collection features eight pieces inspired by family vacations, showcasing items such as earrings and necklaces, priced between $18 and $22.

“It’s a big day for my angel baby!! Saylor has her first jewelry collection out today with @uncommonjames,” Cavallari shared on social media while celebrating the launch.
