Kylian Mbappe's Masterclass Leads Psg To Victory In French Cup

Paris Saint-Germain‘s dynamic forward Kylian Mbappe showcased his brilliance once again as he guided his team to a convincing 4-1 victory over Orleans in the French Cup, securing a spot in the last 16.

Mbappe opened the scoring with a precise low finish, displaying his lethal goal-scoring ability. In the second half, he doubled his tally from the penalty spot after a handball in the area. The French captain, who has been in scintillating form this season, also provided two assists. He set up Goncalo Ramos for PSG’s third goal with an expertly clipped cross. Youngster Senny Mayulu sealed the victory with his maiden goal for the club, assisted by Mbappe.

Orleans managed to grab a consolation goal through their captain Nicolas Saint-Ruf, but it was not enough to challenge the dominating performance of PSG.

In other French Cup matches, Monaco‘s star striker Wissam Ben Yedder stole the show with a remarkable hat-trick to help his team secure a 3-1 victory over Rodez from the second tier. Meanwhile, last season’s runners-up Nantes suffered a shock defeat against lower-league side Laval, losing 1-0.

Nice held off Bordeaux in a thrilling encounter, advancing to the next round with a 3-2 victory. Morgan Sanson was the hero for Nice, scoring two goals to secure the win.

Brest, currently placed third in Ligue 1, avoided an upset against fourth-tier Trelissac, overturning a deficit to win 2-1 with late goals from Kenny Lala and Martin Satriano.

In a stunning upset, fourth division team Le Puy defeated Dunkerque, who play in a higher division, with a 2-1 victory. Valenciennes also secured victory with the same scoreline against Paris FC.
