Labour Party’s Kevin Bonavia Wins Stevenage Constituency in General Election

Kevin Bonavia of the Labour Party secured victory in the Stevenage Constituency following the General Election held recently, announced by Acting Returning Officer Matt Partridge.

The total votes recorded were 17,698 for Bonavia, 11,080 for Alex Clarkson of the Conservative Party, 2,655 for Paul James Dawson of the Green Party, 7,667 for Peter Hopper of Reform UK, 3,467 for Lisa Nash of the Liberal Democrats, and 148 for Joshua Smith of the Christian Peoples Alliance.

The voter turnout in Stevenage Constituency stood at 60.40%, with a total of 42,870 votes cast. Additionally, 155 ballot papers were rejected due to various reasons such as voting for more than one candidate or unmarked ballots.

With a clear margin in the votes, Kevin Bonavia emerged as the elected Member of Parliament for the Stevenage Constituency, marking a significant win for the Labour Party in the area.
