The match, which took place on Tuesday, October 29, saw Siegemund secure a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Uchijima in a contest that lasted 1 hour and 44 minutes.
Siegemund’s performance was marked by her aggressive play, converting 63% of her break points (5 out of 8) and scoring 73 points to Uchijima’s 66.
