Forward KJ Martin has missed the last eight games due to a foot injury, last playing on December 23 in a win over the San Antonio Spurs. Head coach Nick Nurse provided an update on Martin’s status, noting progress but no imminent return. “He’s out of the boot,” Nurse said during pre-game media availability. “But still not on the court yet. So, some progress but not a lot.”

Martin, acquired in the James Harden trade with the LA Clippers last season, has seen an expanded role this year. In 24 games, he has averaged 6.4 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while shooting 38.1% from three-point range.
