Lionel Messi Shines in Florida Derby with Brace for Inter Miami

Lionel Messi, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, showcased his brilliance once again in a thrilling Florida Derby clash as his club, Inter Miami, secured a convincing victory over Orlando City.

The Argentine superstar added two goals to his tally during the match, marking his fourth brace since joining MLS last summer.

One of Messi’s highlight moments came in the second half of the game at Chase Stadium when he capitalized on a hectic sequence that saw Franco‘s shot cleared off the line by Orlando’s Schmitz, only to be chested in by Messi as the ball hit the crossbar and trickled into the net.

His second goal, in the 62nd minute, was set up by Ocampos‘s precise cross, allowing Messi to head the ball past Orlando’s goalkeeper Acosta. Earlier in the game, Franco had opened the scoring for Inter Miami.
