Louis Tomlinson Announces New Album and Releases ‘Lemonade’ Single

LOS ANGELES, CA — Louis Tomlinson has officially announced his upcoming third studio album, titled How Did I Get Here?, which is set to release on January 23, 2026. Along with this announcement, he released a new single, Lemonade, on September 30, 2025.
Tomlinson described the album in a statement as “The record I always deserved to make.” He emphasized the importance of honesty in his music, sharing, “I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music.” Tomlinson expressed how he is still evolving as an artist, stating, “I’m still learning and getting better as a singer and a songwriter.”
The musician indicated that this album reflects his journey and growth during a three-week trip to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where he collaborated closely with musician Nico Rebscher. “Taking all of the steps I did to get here was important. I needed the confidence to become the artist I wanted to be,” Tomlinson explained.
The single Lemonade, which Tomlinson describes as ambitious and fun, is dedicated to a woman who embodies both sweetness and bitterness. He noted, “To me, ‘Lemonade’ really has instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter.”
In addition to his new music, Tomlinson is set to headline a festival in Cooperstown, New York, featuring artists such as Steve Aoki and Lauv.
