Love Island: All Stars Season 2 Premieres with Fan-Favorite Contestants
LONDON, UK — Love Island: All Stars Season 2 premiered on Jan. 13, 2025, reuniting former contestants from the past decade of the hit UK reality dating show. Hosted by Maya Jama and narrated by Iain Stirling, the spinoff brings back fan favorites for another shot at love in a luxurious South African villa.
The season kicked off with a twist: viewers voted to determine the initial pairings of contestants using ITV‘s Love Island app. Among the returning stars are Catherine Agbaje (Season 10), Gabby Allen (Season 3), Nas Majeed (Season 6), Ronnie Vint (Season 11), and Scott Thomas (Season 2). The show will air on ITV2 and stream on ITVX in the UK, with U.S. viewers able to watch on Peacock starting Jan. 15.
The All Stars villa, Ludus Magnus, is located in Franschhoek, South Africa, and features 17 bedrooms, three swimming pools, and a picturesque mountain backdrop. The contestants will face challenges, recouplings, and public voting, with one couple ultimately winning £50,000.
Maya Jama shared her excitement about the season, noting the unique dynamic of having experienced contestants. “It’s a mix of newer and older series, so it’ll be interesting to see how the old-school OGs bond with the newer series,” she said in a press kit.
Scott Thomas, a Season 2 alum, expressed his eagerness to showcase personal growth since his first appearance. “I’ve been on a crazy journey over the last few years of sobriety, self-development,” he said. “I’m hoping this time round I get to go on and put my best foot forward.”
Other notable returnees include Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen, who previously dated after meeting on Season 3. Allen, now a fitness instructor and podcast host, said she returned because “it’s the trenches out there” and she hasn’t found “the one” yet.
Season 2 of Love Island: All Stars promises drama, romance, and plenty of surprises as the contestants navigate their second chance at love.
