This injury has raised questions about whether he will take to the pitch again this season for Aston Villa, where he has scored four goals since joining on loan from Manchester United during the winter transfer window.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery faces challenges as he prepares for the remainder of the season.
