Megan Hilty to Shine in NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center and on Broadway in Death Becomes Her
Megan Hilty, known for her versatile career in both television and theater, is set to make a significant impact this holiday season. She will be among the talented artists performing at NBC‘s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center special, scheduled to air on December 4 at 8 PM ET on NBC and simulcast on Peacock.
Hosted by Emmy and Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson, the event will feature a star-studded lineup including EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson, the Backstreet Boys, Dan + Shay, Coco Jones, Little Big Town, RAYE, Thalia, and the Radio City Rockettes. NBC’s Today anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin will also participate in the tree lighting ceremony.
In addition to her appearance at the Rockefeller Center, Hilty is currently starring in the new Broadway musical Death Becomes Her, based on the film of the same name. She plays the role of Madeline Ashton, a rival to Helen Sharp, portrayed by Jennifer Simard. The musical follows the story of two women who gain eternal youth via a magic potion.
The annual holiday special will celebrate the lighting of a 74-foot tall, 43-foot wide Norway Spruce from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts, adorned with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and topped with a three-dimensional Swarovski star.
