Memphis Weekend Weather: Storms Expected on May 2

Memphis, TN – Memphians and visitors can expect mostly sunny weather during the weekend of May 2-4, though rain is forecasted on the first day, according to weather reports.

The weekend is anticipated to bring moderate spring temperatures, with highs reaching around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. However, rain jackets and umbrellas may be necessary on May 2 as storms are expected to move into the area.

On May 2, rain is predicted throughout the day, along with a chance of thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon. The temperature will peak at around 80, with a 50% chance of rain. In the evening, the forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, continuing the chance of rain, with lows in the upper 50s.

The following day, May 3, is expected to be mostly sunny, although there is a slight chance of morning showers. High temperatures will be in the mid-70s, and the likelihood of rain decreases to 20%. The evening should be mostly clear with lows in the lower 50s.

On May 4, sunny conditions are predicted with highs also in the mid-70s. Nighttime temperatures will drop to the lower 50s and remain mostly clear.

Additionally, May 5 is forecasted to be sunny, with highs around 80 and clear skies at night, where the lows will settle in the mid-50s.
