Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright Reflect on Married Life and Home Renovation

Fool Me Once actress Michelle Keegan and former reality star turned presenter Mark Wright are approaching a significant milestone in their lives, with next May marking the couple’s 10-year wedding anniversary. The pair, who began their relationship in 2012, married in 2015 and have since shared numerous insights into their married life.

In a recent interview with Closer Magazine, Keegan revealed that their date nights have evolved over the years. She stated, “In the old days, we’d go out for dinner and drinks until the early hours. But now, after dinner, I’ll look at my watch and say, ‘It’s 9:30pm, we’d better get back home for bedtime! It’s a bit more boring now!”

The couple resides in an impressive £3.5 million mansion in Essex, which features five bedrooms, a state-of-the-art gym, a sauna, an outdoor pool, and a cinema room. Keegan and Wright have actively shared their home renovation journey with fans through an Instagram page dedicated to the process. After concluding their home project over a two-year period, they commemorated the completion with a ‘Marchella’ housewarming party attended by family and friends.

Despite the luxury of their home, Keegan has expressed that it represents more than just opulence. In an emotional recount to The Guardian, she stated, “It still gets me emotional. Because we’ve worked really hard for it. We’ve had to make a lot of sacrifices. I missed lots of milestones in my life due to work. Mark went to LA and we spent months apart, which was hard. But, it’s worth it.”

Keegan also emphasized the significance of their home in terms of security, adding, “You never know when all this is going to end.”

The love story of Keegan and Wright began behind-the-scenes on The X Factor and continued at various events before becoming official in 2012. Wright proposed to Keegan during a romantic getaway to Dubai in 2013, and they married two years later.
