Miranda Lambert Performing Yoga With Goats In Leggings

Nashville, TN – Miranda Lambert, the acclaimed country singer, addressed body shaming after critics targeted her choice of pants during a social media post. On Friday, Lambert shared a series of images from February, showcasing herself engaged in outdoor activities, including horseback riding and yoga with baby goats, all while sporting bold blue leggings and a gray long-sleeve top.

While Lambert, 41, appeared cheerful in her snapshots, one commenter felt compelled to voice disapproval about her outfit. They wrote, “Yikes, legging type pants are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there. They don’t do you any favors. You are too beautiful to display the unattractive parts.”

Taking the criticism in stride, Lambert posted a screenshot of the comment to her Instagram Stories, captioning it with a witty response: “Good to know! 😂 I’ll do better about displaying my ‘unattractive parts.’” The lighthearted retort drew praise from many of her followers, who defended her by criticizing the negative commenter’s behavior.

This isn’t the first time Lambert has rallied support from her fanbase against body shaming. After a video of her performing went viral on TikTok in 2022, her supporters took to the comments section to counter rude remarks about her physique. One user noted, “I like how it’s only men commenting about her weight. She looks amazing,” while another asserted, “Half of the men in the comments would be lucky to find a woman like her.”

Some fans shared their own experiences, emphasizing how Lambert’s body type resonates with them. One follower stated, “I have the same body type. She makes me feel safe,” while others remarked on her visible happiness and health. They underscored that “bodies age” and “gain weight,” highlighting it as a normal “part of life.”

Lambert has openly discussed her struggles with body image. In a 2019 interview with Health, she admitted to having faced “ups and downs in weight” throughout her life. She also shared a pivotal moment when a fan inspired her to embrace her body. “I had a girl come up to me. She was probably my size and age, and she said, ‘I want you to know I threw my scale away because of you, because you’re so confident. I realized my weight is not in a scale; it’s in how I feel about myself,’” Lambert recalled. “That gave me confidence to be like, ‘Whatever state you’re in, you’ve gotta rock it.’”

As a public figure, Lambert’s experiences with body image resonate with many, and her humorous yet assertive response to criticism serves as a reminder of the importance of self-acceptance and confidence.
