Mobland Cast Tom Hardy Pierce Brosnan

LOS ANGELES, CA — MobLand, a mob drama that debuted on Paramount+ earlier this spring, is quickly becoming a fan favorite. The series, featuring Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza, exploded onto the scene with 8.8 million viewers in its first week, rivaling shows like Star Trek: Picard and 1923 in popularity.

The Harrigan crime family, led by Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and his wife Maeve, finds themselves at war with the Stevensons, a rival gang, over control of their drug empire. Tensions escalated dramatically when the Stevensons’ heir was discovered dead, leading to intense confrontations and strategic battles for survival.

As the plot thickens, the Harrigan family grapples with internal betrayal, seeking to identify a mole within their ranks while struggling to stay out of prison. Executive producer Guy Ritchie directed the first two episodes, contributing to the series’ gripping storytelling. MobLand’s finale is set to air on June 1, where viewers can expect major developments.

In the penultimate episode, “Beggars Banquet,” tensions boiled as the Harrigans faced law enforcement, with Conrad and Maeve arrested on suspicions of murder. “The plan is definitely to see more seasons,” Hardy stated in an interview, hinting at the potential for expanding the story beyond its current scope.

The series is expected to explore international elements of organized crime in future seasons, as Hardy noted the complexities of drug trafficking and criminal connections across Europe and beyond.

Fans will find out the fate of the Harrigans and whether they can escape their dire situation in the season finale debuting on Paramount+ at 3:00 a.m. EST on June 1. With ten episodes in the first season, the stakes are higher than ever as the show wraps up many of its central conflicts.
