Model Opens Up About Relationship with Famous Actor in Vogue France

PARIS, France — Italian model Vittoria Ceretti has spoken openly about her relationship with a well-known Oscar-winning actor in a new interview for the April 2025 issue of Vogue France. This marks her first public comments since the two became romantically linked in August 2023.

Ceretti, 26, shared insights into her dating life with the unnamed actor, referenced by the outlet as a “very, very famous actor” aged 50. During the conversation, she revealed the couple first met in Milan, although she opted not to divulge further details. When asked if she has seen the actor’s iconic film, she remarked, “It’s an iconic film…” referring to his role in Titanic.

The model expressed her concerns about being overshadowed by her partner’s fame, stating, “As soon as you’re in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become ‘girlfriend of’ — or ‘boyfriend of,’ for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying. Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so’s girlfriend who was so-and-so’s ex. So it’s not nice to think that you can’t love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you.”

She also noted that dating one of the world’s most sought-after individuals requires an adjustment. “It’s something you learn,” Ceretti said. “If what you’re experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there’s no reason to be alarmed. Because love protects and gives confidence.”

Since the start of their relationship nearly two years ago, Ceretti and the actor have remained relatively private, with few public appearances together. They were spotted most recently in December 2024, and previously enjoyed shared moments during travel. In August of that year, the couple was photographed enjoying their time together in a casual outing.

Their romance reportedly began with a casual outing for iced coffee and ice cream in Santa Barbara, California. Despite their busy schedules, Ceretti appears to maintain a connection with the actor when they are apart; she was seen backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October, using a phone rumored to belong to him.

Last April, following a dinner with friends at a restaurant in Santa Monica, California, a source told PEOPLE that the actor “seems to be very invested” in their relationship. Before dating Ceretti, he was linked to another figure between September 2022 and February 2023.
