Marvel Comics is set to release a new one-shot issue in its popular ‘What If…?’ series, exploring an alternate reality where Moon Knight becomes the herald of Galactus. Titled ‘What If…Galactus Transformed Moon Knight? #1,’ the comic delves into a universe where the Egyptian Moon God Khonshu clashes with the cosmic devourer Galactus, leading to Moon Knight’s transformation.

In the preview pages, Galactus initially seeks out Khonshu to serve as his herald, but the Moon God refuses to submit. A fierce battle ensues, with Galactus emerging victorious and seemingly destroying Khonshu. Before his demise, Khonshu calls upon his avatar, Marc Spector, also known as Moon Knight, to intervene. This sets the stage for Moon Knight to take on the role of Galactus’ herald, wielding the Power Cosmic in unexpected ways.

The issue, written by Alex Segura and illustrated by Scot Eaton and Chris Campana, features a cover by Ron Lim, known for his iconic work on ‘Silver Surfer.’ The story promises to explore how Moon Knight’s multiple personalities influence his newfound powers and how he must confront former heralds of Galactus to save Earth from destruction.

‘What If…Galactus Transformed Moon Knight? #1’ is scheduled for release next week and will be available for $3.99. Fans of Marvel’s cosmic and mystical storylines are eagerly anticipating this unique twist on the Moon Knight mythos.
